1. To produce a discussion platform in the process to develop a digital catalogue of the Neotropical ants, including the mark up of the published work in TaxonX, and extract nomenclature, distribution, description and bibliographic references
  2. In a second step, to produce a platform based on the data extracted in the first step, to allow to link new data from other sites, collections, from field work, from ecological and survey studies to synthesize the knowledge of the Neotropical ant species.
  3. The regional focus is initially Neotropical but with global as aim.
